With BMW Teleservices, you enjoy maximum safety and convenience when it comes to service issues. From minor maintenance work to quick accident and breakdown assistance – thanks to BMW Teleservices and BMW ConnectedDrive, you don't have to do much to always get the right support at the right time. Your BMW automatically recognizes the need and transmits all relevant vehicle data to our specialists. Ensuring that the right measures are initiated at all times.
BMW TELESERVICES: FREE WITH BMW CONNECTED DRIVE.
Do you have BMW ConnectedDrive or an Emergency Call function? If so, you can use BMW Teleservices free of charge. Complete these three steps so that your Service Partner can manage your maintenance schedule.
Here’s how you experience Teleservices to the full extent:
- Register on the My BMW Portal or the My BMW App.
- Link your vehicle to your account.
- Select your BMW Service Partner directly in the My BMW Portal, in the My BMW App or on the iDrive Display of your vehicle under BMW ASSISTANCE > SERVICE PARTNER.
BMW TELESERVICE CALL.
When maintenance is needed or in case of a malfunction, BMW Teleservice Call provides you and your preferred Service Partner with all the relevant information. Even before contacting you to make an appointment, your BMW Service Partner already knows the condition of your vehicle, can order spare parts and is perfectly prepared to meet the individual requirements of your vehicle. This also shortens the waiting time during the appointment.
The system also identifies the need for unscheduled maintenance work at an early stage, such as in the case of worn brakes. The necessary information is shared so that any such deficiencies can be put right in a timely fashion. You no longer have to worry about anything, and your BMW stays in perfect condition.
To contact you and prepare an appointment, your assigned Service Partner can trigger and call up the current BMW Teleservice Call data of your vehicle and send messages, such as a reminder of an appointment, to your vehicle.

Features in detail
Condition Based Service (CBS) sensors constantly monitor fluid levels (e.g. engine oil) or wear-and-tear components (e.g. brake pads). If a service appointment is needed, your BMW automatically transmits all service-related data to BMW. Your preferred BMW Service Partner, if deposited by you in the ConnectedDrive portal, will call you to arrange an appointment, if necessary. Due to the accuracy of the data relayed, the service appointment can be prepared perfectly with all required components and spare parts – so the vehicle only stays at the Service Centre for a minimum time period. Forget about inflexible service intervals. You only drive to the workshop if you have to.
BMW ON CALL FOR BREAKDOWN ASSISTANCE.
In the event of a breakdown, we assure you of the best possible help: you can contact BMW On Call directly from the vehicle by selecting BMW Assistance in the BMW ConnectedDrive menu via iDrive. All relevant data about the vehicle's condition and your current position will be transmitted immediately to the Mobile Service and a voice connection will be established. The specialists will either solve small faults remotely or or arrange for help on site.
After you have given your consent, vehicles with the latest generation of the iDrive are able to respond to a request for the necessary data and allow this information to be transferred remotely. As a result, the Roadside Assistance call centre agent can obtain the vehicle data even if you have made contact by telephone.
Alternatively you can start the roadside assistance process from your My BMW App. In this case too, the assistance hotline will receive all the information required to provide you with the best possible support.

Features in detail
In the event of a breakdown or malfunction in your BMW, simply select BMW ConnectedDrive via the iDrive menu and the function Mobile Care. At the press of a button, you can transmit the current vehicle data to our Mobile Care specialists for evaluation. Our specialists are able to remotely diagnose your BMW as if it were in the workshop. With the help of an automatic voice connection our specialists will inform you about the condition of the vehicle and the next steps. They are often able to rectify certain problems remotely. If remote maintenance isn’t possible, a Mobile Care vehicle will be dispatched right away or you’ll be directed to the nearest BMW Service Partner. The vehicle data will be transmitted to the BMW Service Partner to ensure that he’s optimally prepared to service your vehicle.
BMW ACCIDENT CALL.
The innovative Accident Call offers professional support in the event of minor accidents in which the airbag does not deploy. However, sensors still allow your vehicle to detect the damage and inform you by displaying a warning notice in the iDrive monitor. All you have to do is press a button, and the specialists at the Accident Assistance call centre will be on hand to offer you their professional and expert assistance. If your vehicle is still roadworthy, they will be pleased to arrange an appointment for you with the nearest Service Partner. If not, they will organise a recovery service for you.

- Not every accident is automatically detected due to technical reasons. In such exceptional cases, BMW Teleservice Accident Call can be manually activated.

SERVICE PARTNER MANAGEMENT.
Service Partner Management allows you to define a preferred Service Partner who will receive the Teleservice Calls from your vehicle. You can check and change the currently assigned Service Partner at any time in the vehicle menu, your My BMW Portal or the My BMW App. In order to ensure Teleservices are provided, BMW can also correct missing or obviously incorrect Service Partner assignments.
