Charging at high-power charging stations.

The BMW high-power charging (HPC) network lets you charge your BMW extremely fast with a charging power of up to 350 kW. Now you can use IONITY fast-charging stations at attractive rates throughout Europe with the IONITY Plus package. As a new vehicle customer, you can use it for 12 months without payment of a basic fee.

Attractive energy rates.

When you purchase a new BMW electric car, you benefit from attractive rates and packages for the first year with no standing charge. For electric cars, you also automatically receive the IONITY Plus package for a year with no standing charge, which means you can charge at IONITY high-power charging stations in Europe with attractive conditions. This is a market-specific offer that applies to new vehicles from BMW branches and dealers in Europe within the BMW Charging network.

Plug & Charge and go.

More than just charging technology. BMW Plug & Charge takes you into the future of electric mobility. The system automatically detects and authenticates your car as soon as you connect it to the charging station. And, thanks to the multi-contract function, you can choose one of several saved charging contracts from different providers. Whether private or business. It's up to you.

Your fast charging cable (Mode 3) for public charging.

The waterproof fast charging cable (Mode 3) for public AC charging offers full flexibility and rapid charging of your electric car or plug-in hybrid vehicle. Thanks to its length of five metres, it is easy to use at public charging stations.

The charging times of electric cars.

Charging your electric car at high-power charging stations is the fastest method. Thanks to their high charging power, these stations offer very short charging times. For instance, a BMW i5 eDrive40 needs to charge for just 10 minutes to gain null kilometres[4]. With the BMW Wallbox or BMW Flexible Fast Charger, a BMW i5 eDrive40 can be fully charged conveniently at home in null hours.[3]

[1] Official data for fuel consumption, CO2 emissions, power consumption and electric range was determined in accordance with the prescribed measuring procedure and corresponds to European Regulation (EC) 715/2007 in the applicable version. For ranges, data determined as per WLTP takes into account any optional equipment (available on the German market in this case). For vehicles that have been newly type approved since 1 January 2021, only the official data according to WLTP exists. In addition, NEDC values are deleted from the certificates of conformity as of 1 January 2023 by EC regulation 2022/195. For more information about NEDC and WLTP measuring procedures visit www.bmw.com/wltp

Further information about fuel consumption and official model-specific CO2 emissions of new passenger cars can be found in the "Guideline for fuel consumption, CO2 emissions and electric power consumption for new passenger cars", available free of charge at all points of sale, at the Deutsche Automobil Treuhand GmbH (DAT), Hellmuth-Hirth-Str. 1, 73760 Ostfildern-Scharnhausen, Germany, and under https://www.dat.de/co2/.

[2] Range depends on various factors, in particular: individual driving style, route characteristics, outside temperature, heating/air conditioning, pre-conditioning.

[3] The charging performance depends on the state of charge, ambient temperature, individual driving profile and use of auxiliary consumers. The ranges shown are based on the WLTP best case. The charging times apply to ambient temperatures of 23 degrees Celsius after a preceding drive and may differ depending on the usage behaviour.

[4] The recharged range in km after 10 minutes of High-Power-Charging was determined according to DIN70080 in the WLTP cycle. It depends on the vehicle equipment, individual driving profile, ambient temperature, charging status and the use of additional consumers.

[5] The My BMW App is compatible with all BMW cars from model year 2014 onwards. It needs ConnectedDrive Services equipment to be fitted, and use of a compatible smartphone. The availability and functions of the My BMW App are market-dependent.

[6] Market-specific offer applies to new vehicles purchased from BMW branches and dealerships in Europe in the BMW Charging network.
