HOW TO BOOK A TEST DRIVE AT YOUR BMW RETAILER.
Booking a test drive at your preferred BMW Retailer is simpler than ever. You can book a convenient date and time for your test drive, online. Should your desired BMW model not be available for an online booking, you can still complete a test drive request and your BMW Retailer will be in touch to arrange your experience.
FREQUENTLY ASKED TEST DRIVE QUESTIONS
Do I need a license to test drive a BMW?
Yes. You’ll either need a valid South African driver’s licence or learner’s license to test drive a BMW.
What is the minimum age to test drive a BMW?
You must be over the age of 18 to test drive a BMW.
Will I be alone during my BMW test drive?
For your peace-of-mind, and the convenience of being able to ask any questions you may have, you will be accompanied by an employee of your chosen BMW Retailer for the duration of your test drive. If you would like an extended test drive experience, please discuss it with your BMW Retailer.
How long is a BMW test drive?
A standard BMW test drive appointment can last approximately 45 minutes. Bespoke test drive experiences are available upon request with your chosen BMW Retailer.
Can I test drive any BMW model?
We will try our best to arrange a test drive in your desired BMW. Please note however, due to current global stock shortages this may not always be possible. In addition, test drives of exclusive BMW models may require a deposit or additional verification.
What if the Retailer doesn’t have my desired BMW test drive model in stock?
If your model of interest isn't available for booking, you can still send a request to your BMW Retailer to arrange the experience for you. We will try our best to arrange a test drive in your desired BMW. Please note however, due to current global stock shortages this may not always be possible.
