DRIVING PLEASURE.
The market launch of the new BMW 5 Series Sedan will begin in the first quarter of 2023. The new model generation will be offered worldwide with all-electric drive and highly efficient diesel engines including 48-volt mild hybrid technology in South Africa. Like all previous model generations, the new BMW 5 Series Sedan is produced at the BMW Group Plant Dingolfing, where the electric motors and high-voltage batteries for the BMW i5 are also manufactured.

The Dynamic Light Carpet illuminates the door areas when entering and exiting the vehicle for safety reasons, and also welcomes and inspires with light animations.

Driving Assist Professional keeps your vehicle safely in its lane and at a distance at speeds of up to 210 km/h. An additional benefit – especially in congested traffic. In an emergency, your BMW will brake to a standstill and automatically drive off again.
Your BMW takes care of the parking for you.
Parking without being in your vehicle. Parking Assist automatically parks and unparks your BMW. Perform the manoeuvre for up to 200 m once and then save it.
